JJ GOLDBERGER
Co-Writer/Director/Producer

JJ is a graduate of the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. Before attending AFI JJ attended Sarah Lawrence College where she studied dance and choreography. JJ spent twelve (12) years in New York as a professional dancer and choreographer. In 2001, she was accepted into AFI's film program and spent her two graduate years making eight short films.

As a second year thesis student, JJ developed her thesis script and won American Film Institute's MARTIN RITT AWARD - a $10,000 cash production grant. She was the only African American recipient of an AFI 2003 Women in Film Scholarship. JJ's independent short film - STONE MANSION was one of the 2004 Showtime Network's BLACK FILMMAKERS SHORT FILM SHOWCASE Winners. Stone Mansion was licensed in 2004 to the Showtime Network and aired over February in honor of Black History Month. JJ's thesis film, was also sold in 2004 to HBO and is currently in rotation. STONE MANSION was sold to AMERICAN PUBLIC TELEVISION (PBS) in 2005 and is currently airing in 45 US markets. Both films have screened in over fifty (50) national and international festivals.

JJ is a 2005 recipient of a PAUL ROBESON FUND FOR INDEPENDENT MEDIA GRANT to develop a feature-length documentary on a landmark racial discrimination case. JJ is currently part of the production staff of the new Damon Wayans Showtime Network comedy sketch series THE UNDERGROUND and most recently has been invited to participate in the 2006 TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL ALL ACCESS.

JJ lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Joe Goldberger, a master drummer and film music composer.

Beverley A. Gordon
Producer

Beverley is a graduate of Harvard University with a B.A. in Middle Eastern History. After college, Beverley received a fellowship to the American University in Cairo where she studied Arabic and worked in the Special Collections division of the University library. Beverley later received her J.D. from Tulane Law School where she studied entertainment and sports law. Since graduating, Beverley has worked at several New York law firms, assisted the director of development at Revelations Entertainment (NY), and served as a producer on the independent feature films CHUTNEY POPCORN (2000) starring Jill Hennessy, and THE OTHER BROTHER (2002), starring Mekhi Phifer.

Beverley is a 2004 graduate of the American Film Institute, receiving an MFA in the discipline of producing. While at AFI, Beverley produced four short films and in 2003 was a recipient of a prestigious $10,000 AFI Scholarship. Beverley's thesis film, WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON (dir. Alonso F. Mayo), has appeared in over 20 film festivals nationally and internationally. The film won a Gold Prize at the 2005 Student Academy Awards and was one of three nominees for the Best Short Film Award at the 2005 Imagen Awards. WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON has also won several honors including: McDonald's Best Student Work Award - San Diego Latino Film Festival; Honorable Mention in Latino Category - 2004 DGA Student Film Awards; Winner of Jury Prize for Best Short Film - Boston Latino International Film Festival; Finalist of the Angelus Live Action Award - Angelus Awards Student Film Festival; Finalist for Best Short Film - Deauville Festival Of American Film (France). WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON has aired on Showtime Networks, SiTV (Dish Network) and will air in Scandinavia for Canal+ Nordic. Beverley lives in Los Angeles and New York.

Leading Choreographer

Kishaya Dudley is the 2005 VMA Winner for Best Choreography in a Music Video for GWEN STEFANI's Holla Back Girl. Her talents can be seen behind many top recording artists' videos, mainstream commercials, film, television shows, stage productions and tours.

Kishaya's choreography and dance resume includes such artists as: Gwen Stefani, Ashanti, Puff Daddy, Destiny's Child, Missy Elliot, 3LW, Bow Wow, Mya, Wyclef Jean, and Foxy Brown to name a few.

Kishaya has choreographed commercials for Old Navy, Starbucks, Pepsi (featuring Mariah Carey), Virgin Mobile, Dr. Pepper (featuring Paulina Rubio), and Mountain Dew (Cyndi Lauper & Anastacia). MTV's House of Style, Chris Rock, and Christina Milan/N'Sync Tour.

In 2004 Kishaya was the choreographer for the music industry's leading man, Usher, working with the best of the best at the December 2004 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas. This New York native's artistic vision translated onto the screen with the release of Fox Searchlight's film,"Roll Bounce," a retro 70's roller-skate coming of age comedy starring young hip hop artist Bow Wow.

The world of entertainment has been gifted with Kishaya's talent and passion for over a decade. Her movements on stage and in front of the camera are as precisely defined as her vision for the future of choreography.

Twinkie Byrd
"Twink of an Eye Casting"

Wearing her trademark color, Orange, makes this high-powered casting director as memorable as her name, Twinkie Byrd. Whether with braids of orange hair or her au natural Afro she is the reigning Queen of Brooklynî, Twinkie has a commanding presence and style that turns heads. Twinkie also has a flair for Great Casting that keeps Production Companies and Ad Agencies coming back for more.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Twinkie went into the advertising biz right out of school. That was 15 years ago. Two years into her ad career, she got invited to do some casting and found her niche. I love it all!î Twinkie saysÖìThe best part is and knowing exactly what my directors are looking for and finding new talent. When you can do that and do a great job for the client it is all good!

Twinkie has been casting Commercials, TV, Music Videos and print coast to coast for 15 years. She has worked with Artists such as NíSync, Christina Aguilera, Brittany Spears, Black Eyed Peas, P. Diddy, J. Lo, 50 Cent, OUTKAST , DMX, P.O.D. and Eve. Many of the directors she's worked with in the Music Video world have moved onto film. They include David LaChappelle, Brett Ratner , Spike Jonze, Tim Story, Marcus Raboy, Forest Whitaker & Dave Meyers just to name a few. Her Commercial clients include Reebok, Barbie, PEPSI, TGI Fridays MTV, VH1, Home Depot and Dodge Chrysler.

With offices in NY and Los Angeles, Twinkie is poised to empower, uplift and raise the level of quality casting well into the 21st century.

Joe Goldberger
Composer

Joe has scored both theme and source music for a variety of American Film Institute film projects.

Other scores include the music for the award winning film:"Stone Mansion" which was shown on the PBS Network during the fall of 2005, and "GAME" the short.

"Sunday Morning Stripper"- currently airing on SHOWTIME, which won top prize in SHOWTIME NETWORKS"SHOWCASE AWARDS (2005).

Joe's music can also be heard on"The Great Commision", which aired on the SHOWTIME network in 2004.

Joe has a vast and diverse background as a performance artist. His many affiliations include Singer/songwriter Mark Radice, the R&B super group,"Brass Construction", jazz pianist - Kenny Drew Jr, tours of Brazil and Japan with Mark Lambert, and Annie Haslam's "Renaissance". Presently residing in Los Angeles, Joe has performed with jazz and blues vocalists, Sweet Baby Jai and Cathy Segal Garcia, among others.



Debbie Nagata

Debbie Nagata was the Co-producer of GAME the short film. Debbie worked diligently along side the director and made the film in 2 1/2 days. Debbie's other producing credits include:

Producer/writer for an optioned animated feature, VIBETRIBE.
Producer/writer for a new children's educational videos series, PAPOS KIDS. Release date August 2006.

Debbie was the Associate Producer/Production Manager for The Discovery Channel's pilot SEX DRIVE. She was also the Producer for"Unahi-Mindanao", a documentary of the Higaonon, an indigenous rainforest tribe and Producer/Director/Writer of a martial arts short KALI, currently in postproduction.

As a playwright, in 2000, Debbie was chosen as one of the new voices for the Los Angeles Cultural Affairs "Wordsmiths." Her plays include THE BRICK WOMB, THIRD WORLD HEAT, and the musical HARBOR LIGHTS.

Debbie was the Unit Production Manager for Showtime Network's 2006 Black Filmmaker Showcase's grand prize winner, SUNDAY MORNING STRIPPER. She has just wrapped as production coordinator of the new Damon Wayans Showtime Network comedy sketch series THE UNDERGROUND.

Debbie's other screenplay projects include PROMISE LAND, EXILED MOTHERS, and LIFE CHANGES.

Debbie has an Associates Degree in Communications/TV/Film.
